Since this month, I have been blabbering so much about how to slowly shift from the commercial, synthetic, and too strong medicines (especially for the kids), I thought about giving you a tip on how to make this a bit more exciting. So in this blog post, I am going to share to you how the health benefits of tea can be enjoyed not just in liquid form but in gummies!
Prep time 5 mins Cook time 3 mins Total time 8 mins
What will you need?
2 cups/500ml boiled water
2 herbal tea bags
3-4 tbsp of grass-fed gelatin
2 tbsp raw honey
How to do it?
- Line a square glass dish with parchment paper. You can leave a slight over hang over 2 sides of the dish for easy lifting when the gummies are ready.
- Put the tea bags in a small-medium saucepan with lid. Then pour over the boiled water.
- Cover and allow it to steep for 5 minutes.
- Uncover and discard the tea bags and squeeze out the tea bags.
- Using a wooden spoon, stir the honey until it is dissolved.
- Gently sprinkle it with one tablespoon of gelatin while mixing.
- Should there be some undissolved gelatin, strain the mixture into a measuring cup or clean mixing bowl to strain out any undissolved gelatin. Then, pour mixture into the lined dish.
- If there are bubbles in the mixture, stir them to dissolve or skim off using a spoon.
- Place in the fridge until ready.
- Once set, remove and carefully lift off the dish.
- Place onto a cutting board and cut into squares.
- Serve.
