Black tea with flavoured with real Bergamot Oil, which is the oil from the rind of bergamot orange.  It is one of the most recognised flavoured teas in the world. It is one of the most popular teas in England but originated in China.. Kenteco's Earl Grey unlike others is sprayed with Pure Bergamot Oil during the drying process of Black Tea, thus imparting a delicate and strong flavour. It has similar levels of Caffeine compared to a normal cup of Black Tea.. Earl Grey recently is increasing its popularity and is finding its way through to flavoured cookies, panacotta, marshmallows, chocolate and more. Its is also a very popular choice for use as a smoking agent in foods such as fish and meat.  

Brewing:
Put 1 teaspoon in a teapot. Add fresh water to the kettle and add water off the boil. Brew for about 5 minutes with a lid over the pot so as to keep the drink hot and retain the flavours. Avoid oversteeping black tea as it will get stronger in flavour but it will also start to impart the bitterness of black tea. High quality leaf such as Kenteco Earl Grey can be steeped several times. You can add milk to the tea but to best enjoy the benefits if this rich tea we recommend sipping it plain with no additives.
